Origin:

Ice formation in frozen cases has been, for a long time, the cause of many refrigeration system failures and a significant source of loss of merchandise caused by the unexpected shut down of refrigeration equipment. A simple solution to this inconvenience consisted of adding an ice temperature sensor to the refrigeration system.
